Juniper Berry Gin Alternative (alcohol free)


  • 2 cups water
  • handful juniper berries (couple of tbsp)
  • couple of rosemary sprigs
  • peel of 1 lime, taking care not to include the white pith.


Add to a small sauce pan. Bring to a light boil, then simmer for up to an hour. Halfway through simmering, gently crush the juniper berries with a wooden spoon to release their flavour.

To serve: 

Pour one shot (or make it a double!) of the juniper mixture into a glass with ice and top with your favourite tonic. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and serve immediately.
