Totally Thames Festival, Various LocationsWalk along the Thames to see large-scale art installations, free exhibitions and live performances. Enjoy a concert below river-level or join an archaeological tour of the river’s surroundings. See boats of all sizes cruise down the river, or get on the water yourself with water sports and boat parties.

The Duchess of Cambridge inspires a new play garden for children at RHS Garden Wisley.
Throughout September term time
Morden Hall Park Explorers Group for under 5s
Park Explorers explore the beautiful setting of Morden Hall Park through led activities, singing, crafts and stories. With trees, meadows and bubbling streams it’s the perfect location for early years learning.
Sessions are on term time Monday mornings, £5.50 per participating child. Registration begins 15 minutes before each session.
Please note: sessions will not run on Mondays outside of school term times, including Easter, bank holidays, half terms and summer holidays.

Join one of our garden guides for a free thirty minute tour of our kitchen garden. Discover more about the history of the 17th century kitchen garden and the herbs and vegetables grown by our gardeners.

This summer come to Hampton Court Palace, explore the gardens and see if you can uncover the colourful dragons lurking among the trees and plants.
Each dragon has a special name and its own superpower for you to discover.

CLIMB ABOARD
Explore HMS Belfast and see what life was like aboard this floating city as you weave your way through the bowels of the ship and climb up and down ladders across all 9 decks.
Take the helm in the Captain’s chair and help recover a downed plane in an interactive game based on a real-life exercise. Keep a lookout up on the flag deck where you can get amazing 360-degree views of London, and delve deeper into the boiler and engine rooms 15ft below sea level.

Meet an owl at our kids’ event
Details: 12 noon – 5pm, outside Waitrose at Southside, on 28th September.Session times for the bird shows: 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm
Catch a birds of prey show, where children can meet owls and hold birds at this month’s Kids’ Club. An eagle, falcon and a hawk may even fly in to join us! In between each bird show we will have autumn story time with tales such as ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’.
28th-29th September
See the enthralling birds of prey agility demonstrations taking place on Seven Acres (west) at RHS Garden Wisley and get to meet the wonderful birds up close. Watch them take flight at 11am and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

See RHS Garden Wisley awash with the glorious colours of autumn, completely free of charge on Tuesday 1 October 2019. Open to everyone, guests can enjoy a wonderful day out with friends and family exploring the garden.

Bring your lovely little people to enjoy song and music at a special session for our very youngest festival goers, with entertainment from the brilliant Tempo Tots.

Hallo! We have planted 150000 seeds, over 32 varieties of pumpkins and gourds on 100 acres across 3 sites. They are growing happily, and will be ready and waiting to be picked by you in October.There are wheelbarrows to push, halloween crafts, fun activities, great food and if you are very lucky you may catch a glimpse of our friendly witch family.

Enjoy the best of the season at RHS Garden Wisley’s harvest celebration. See the orchard laden with fruit, the garden awash with autumn colour, and prepare to be tempted by a range of delicious local and artisan food and drink, with more than 30 stalls to browse.

RHS Wisley Autumn Walk and Talk: A Familiar Favourite
From 1-3pm
Join RHS Garden Wisley’s enthusiastic Curatorial Team, on a walk and talk around the garden to see the spectacularly vibrant autumn display. Learn about the plants that put on a show at this time of year and what to look out for in the coming months. This session will involve considerable walking outside, so please come prepared with suitable footwear and clothing.
