World of Golf is a favourite hangout of ours and is fun for the whole family! We discovered this hidden gem in New Malden before our kids were born and my husband, an avid golfer, would pop in for some driving range practice or we would spend an hour or two playing crazy golf together.
The complex is set back from the road and has the driving range, a putting area and dinosaur crazy golf, complete with neon green waterfalls and electronic moving dinosaurs, which occasionally let out a blood curdling roar! It also boasts a golf shop, a kids’ party room, a Costa Coffee and private and group golf lessons for adults and children.
As soon as Hugo was old enough to hold a golf club and follow simple instructions, we started taking him to play dinosaur golf and he loves it! At first he was slightly frightened of the quite realistic dinosaurs but he soon got used to them and starting asking his daddy to take him to play golf. Crazy golf was quite slow going with a toddler but worth it as it taught Hugo good hand eye coordination and patience.
