I love this quote and it means more to me than ever since I’ve had my children! Sometimes you need a little something to look forward to after a sleepless night or a crazy morning and having eaten well you feel re-energised and more centred. It’s like pushing the reset button for a frazzled parent brain.

I’ve realised that having kids, having a super busy schedule and being pulled in all directions means it is even more important than ever to make time for yourself, eat delicious, healthy food, exercise, enjoy life and go on adventures!

Deliciously Ella and Holly Tucker, MBE, founder of notonthehighstreet, once said in a podcast that to be successful in any venture you need to think not only of how you will reach your goals and who your target audience is but also why you are doing what you do. So what is my why? Simple – because I want to inspire other parents with healthy recipes, ideas, projects and beautiful photos because happy, healthy parents = happy, healthy kids. And nothing is more important than happiness.
